Coby is an experienced and accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years experience in the printing industry. He holds an MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi. Additionally, he has also received extensive training in Electronic Media Publishing and Security Media Management.
As the founder and CEO of TYPE Company Limited, Coby has been instrumental in the company’ s success since its inception in 1993. Under his leadership, TYPE has evolved from a start-up to a Strategic Security Printing and Packaging Company in Ghana. As an innovator, he is credited with the development of several innovative initiatives including transforming TYPE into a Strategic Security Printing Company, the introduction of the first Mobile Self-Service Laundry in Ghana: RAPIDWASH, and the creating of the first virtual bookshop in Ghana.
Coby started his craft at the age of eleven as a cobbler and carpenter before transforming his passion into decorative woodcraft whiles still in School. His passion for entrepreneurship is rooted in his love for excellence and quality. His extensive experience, education, exposure have allowed him to make significant contributions to the printing industry in Ghana and beyond.
