Reinhard Lechner

Reinhard Lechner is from his basic background an electrical engineer and started
1992 to work for Starlinger & Co. At first as installation and start up engineer of new
developed machines, next step is career was Research & Development engineer in
our technical department which is today around 120 persons. Next step was in 2001
to work for Starlinger´s new division, called new product development department to
check markets for new machines and packaging solutions. During this time Reinhard
became in charge for the PET applications a new machine/packing product from
Starlinger based on the know-how from the world market leader in PET refinement.
Reinhard is well connected within all departments to achieve as quick as possible for
example prototype packaging solutions which are tested from Reinhard in the field.
Every development starts with a dream and Reinhard is trying release such dreams.
One of his jobs is also to network/lobby worldwide and to get in contact with users of
packaging materials manufactured on Starlinger machines. Some of his
developments you can already see on the market in the field of PET.
