Association of Ghana Industries
AGI is a not-for-profit organisation, registered in Ghana. AGI was established in 1957 and incorporated in 1958 by a group of indigenous manufacturers, led by Dr. (Mrs) Esther Ocloo. Today, AGI has over 1200 members across all the regions of Ghana and is recognised as the leading voice of the private sector.

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre is Ghana’s foremost investment attraction and promotion agency under the Office of the President.
Guided by the GIPC Act 2013 (Act 865), the Centre courts and facilitates valuable investments to stimulate economic growth, unlock opportunities and spur job creation. The Centre also provides a diligent team of resource persons to furnish investors with insight and necessary guidelines towards a successful integration into the Ghanaian World of business, and as such remains the first point of contact for all foreign investors coming to Ghana.

The Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GNCCI) is an association of business operators, firms, and industries with interests spanning every sector of private enterprise in Ghana. As an advocacy organisation, the GNCCI was established with the prime objective of promoting and protecting commercial and industrial interests in the country (Legislative Instrument 611 of 1968).
The Chamber represents the voice of the business community with total commitment to playing a leadership role towards propelling Ghana’s economy to higher heights. As an autonomous business support organisation, we serve as a link between established businesses, the emerging sector, and government at the various levels while offering our members a myriad of business support services.
To this end, the Chamber has and will continue to influence government policies and programmes, which will inure to the benefit of the private sector while promoting the overall development of the Ghanaian economy.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG) is a private association which brings together companies and professionals from various sectors of the Ghanaian economy who want to develop their business in Ghana, in France or abroad. It supports the business development of French and Ghanaian companies by facilitating trade and financial exchanges between France and Ghana. The Chamber participates in the promotion of Ghana among French players and accompanies them in their approach to the Ghanaian market. The CCIFG also supports Ghanaian companies in developing their international potential.
The Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce is an organization whose prime mission is to promote the interests of Canada Ghana Chamber of Commerce (CANCHAM) members by providing advocacy, business information, networking opportunities and services that encourage bilateral trade between Canada and Ghana.
The Food and Beverage Association of Ghana (FABAG) is a national trade association of the food and beverage industry in Ghana, representing food and beverage manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers etc. The association was founded in 2003 and currently represents close to 100 businesses. Membership is also open to other players in the food delivery chain including transporters and equipment manufacturers.
The Ghana Nigeria Business Council (GNBC) supports and promotes trade and commercial relations between Ghana and Nigeria.
The GNBC’s key objective is to promote trade between Ghana and Nigeria and encourage a smooth transition and provide the necessary support for interested parties to set up trade in Ghana.
GNBC is also partnered with Nigeria Ghana Business Council which equally helps facilitate Ghanaian businesses wanting to set up in Nigeria.
The GPPCA, formed in January, 1980 has been the official mouthpiece of Ghanaian industries using paper and paper products as their basic raw materials.
GPPCA is committed to help the printing industry to grow and develop to the benefit of both the individual and the industry. Specifically:
Organize all Printers, Paper Converters and allied service companies for the expressed purpose of promoting the special interests of the printing and its allied industry.
Help improve upon the standards of the printing and paper converting in Ghana.
Seek on behalf of member companies internal and external trade relations.
Get the industry involved in the export drive consistent with the objective of the Ghana Government.
The Institute of Packaging, Ghana (IOPG) is a registered professional body operating in Ghana. Following its inauguration on 3rd November 2003, the IOPG has been at the forefront of promoting packaging practice in GHana and in the West Africa sub-region. This is through the provision of traning, advocacy, business advisory, research and consultancy services to the packaging, industrial, and commercial sectors.
The Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) (formerly National Board for Small-Scale Industries (NBSSI) is a government agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The GEA is mandated by the Ghana Enterprises Agency Act, 2020 (Act 1043) to promote and develop MSMEs in Ghana. The NBSSI was replaced by the Ghana Enterprises Agency in November 2020. It aims to interrelate, administer and stimulate the development of MSMEs.
Invest In Africa is a not for profit with a vision to create prospering African economies. We catalyse African SME growth by improving their access to markets, skills, and finance. Thus, we develop globally competitive African businesses and create opportunities and jobs across the continent’s key sectors. We operate in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal and Mauritania. To date, IIA has facilitated market linkages worth over $200m, facilitated finance worth $12m and trained over 15,000 SMEs to become competitive. The firms’ professional experiences include:
Implementing partner for Mastercard Foundation Resilience and Recovery Programme and Market Access program that supported over 10,000 SMEs and facilitated market linkages worth $38 million+. June 2020 to June 2022.
Implemented consultancy services for developing and operationalisation of a business-to-business marketplace in Zambia funded by the World Bank.
Implemented Consultancy services for the design and implementation of a business Linkage programme program and a business-to-business marketplace funded by the African Development Bank in Ghana, Senegal, Madagascar. Nov 2014 to-date.
Implemented Consultancy services for the establishment and piloting of credit guarantee scheme in Kenya funded by USAID.
The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) is a government agency mandated by the Public Health Act, 2012 (Act 851), to provide and enforce standards for the manufacture, importation, exportation, sale and distribution of food, drugs (herbal/allopathic/veterinary), cosmetics, medical devices, household chemical substances, tobacco and tobacco products, blood and blood products and the regulation of Clinical Trials in a bid to safeguard public health and safety.
Vision - To protect the health and safety of people in Ghana and be a global centre of excellence for food and medicinal product regulation.
Mission - The FDA exists to assure the safety, quality and efficacy of human and veterinary drugs, food, biological products, cosmetics, medical devices, household chemical substances and clinical trials, and the control and use of tobacco products, through the enforcement of relevant standards to protect public health.
Objective - To provide and enforce standards for the sale of food, herbal medicinal products, cosmetics, drugs, medical devices and household chemical substances.

WHAT WE DO
Registration of Products - We approve products before they are sold and distributed on the market.
Good Manufacturing Practices - We inspect and license manufacturing facilities and warehouses (local and abroad) to ensure they meet the standards.
Post Market Surveillance - We check products on the markets, shops etc. to know if they are safe, quality and if they meet standards.
The Cosmetics Manufacturers Association of Ghana (COSMAG) is a legally registered association of cosmetics and household chemicals manufactures in Ghana. In search for a more powerful voice to support and promote the development and growth of cosmetics manufacturing business in Ghana, Mr. Alex Lawer Djaba and others concluded that forming COSMAG will be a solution to the holistic development and growth of Cosmetics and Household Chemicals Manufacturing business in Ghana.
In February 2011, the first meeting was held at the premises of Regent University College of Science and Technology, Trinity Campus Accra which was attended by Ten (10) companies to address the pressing need to become one voice.
At the moment COSMAG has presence in three zones namely: Greater Accra (southern zone), Ashanti Region (mid-zone) and Norther Region (upper zone). We have a total of 300 members.
This association is recognized by the government of Ghana as the official voice of the Cosmetics and Household Chemicals manufacturing business. We are affiliated with the following bodies and organizations;

VISION
To be a means by which cosmetics manufacturing companies are to support the development of the cosmetics manufacturing businesses in Ghana
PURPOSE
This association is formed to promote the advancement of the best interests of COSMETICS MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION OF GHANA members by providing fellowship and the furtherance of professional relationships among the members.
To be a partner of the government in preparing and applying regulation in relation to the cosmetics manufacturing business
To represent cosmetics manufacturing companies in Ghana, particularly in complying with the harmonization of cosmetics manufacturing rules and regulations in Ghana as well as in relation to other regional and international organizations and other business / industrial association
To Combine the skills of the cosmetics manufacturing business and industry in evaluating and taking steps with regard to science and Technology, economy, finance, consumers and the environment
Fostering and intensifying regional as well as global trade by applying the harmonization and regulation and removing obstacles in line with the free market economy

National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers
The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers, (NASPAWAP) is a nationwide association of producers in the water industry. With over three thousand members nationally, we aspire to streamline the activities of producers and to help the regulators in the industry to monitor and sanitize the industry space.
Our ultimate goal is to protect the investments of the thousands of producers, while ensuring through the regulatory bodies that these producers are providing clean and wholesome drinking water for the Ghanaian population. We aim to bring all producers under one umbrella so that we can forge ahead as a strong force in the provision of our essential service. It is without a doubt that members, regulators and government agencies have seen the enormous impact the association and industry has been on the Ghanaian economy as well as the Ghanaians.
